Document Summary

Something is moving away from you, it loses energy. Light loses energy as it moves through a massive object (sun rays in the sun) To leave the earth it needs to travel >11km/s. The closer you are the slower your clock ticks. The more massive an object is, the more it will distort spacetime. These ripples travel at the speed of light. Gravity waves can cause really small changes in length (two towers in mexico) Gravity might not be a weak force, it might just exist in other dimensions. Gr= measure of big things, qm= measure of small scales. When you get really small the fabric of space time get jittery. All other theories fail when the objects get really really small (quirks) where gravity is non existent. This is where string theory comes in stating that particles are not really particles but strings and they can vibrate. They spacetime has 11 dimensions (10 are spatial and 1 is time)
