Peace studies is subject to a bunch of objectives. Bunk the nature of peace studies: peace studies is a discipline/separate course of study. Defined by its subject: human conflict and its peaceful resolution . To understand how conflicts among human beings arise, what causes them to become harmful for some or all the parties, and what means are most likely to deal with them in less harmful. Some of us are too critical of mainstream thinking. Peace = trying to change the way we do things. ^ this is because we are too political (peace studies is a political science), we deal with political subjects/concepts (ex. Peace is a goal, something we define as good and we want to achieve it. Some people think it is: peace (negative/peace) Conflict has a negative dimension it takes time, resources, creates winners and losers.
