Peace through strength: negative in both international and interpersonal relations, the most politically potent and influential concept and strategy of preventing war up to date. *notes* the military *: attempt by states or other actors to maintain, similar level of military or physical strength that no state/ actor would over power others, maintaining peace through deterrence (e. g cold war) The collapse of the soviet union and the warsaw pact, nato had to re-evaluate purpose, goals and key focus. Nato started participated newly in political movements and humanitarian missions. Association of five major emerging economies: brazil, russia, india, china and south africa. It focuses its effort on economic, political and cultural cooperation.
