Metaphysics: the study of philosophy related to being or reality. Only an idea has true, unqualified being or reality. The idea of the good is the most important thing. Wisdom is the intellectual pathway to wisdom. To know what is good one must separate all other things. We cant understand our own good unless we understand how it relates to other things. Opinions without knowledge are shameful and ugly things. Opinion arises when we judge a perception. Philosophical opinion of good is not opinion nor belief it is wisdom. The wise are not friends of democracy democracy needs opinions it is important to know when we do not know, and not confuse opinion with knowledge. The idea of the good is simultaneously the idea of being for all other ideas (causes them to be real) and also causes the idea of intellect. He believes in the pursuit of infallible knowledge.
