Criminal law includes limitations which are not connected to harming others. Tries to explain that an activity that harms nobody can still offend society. A society only exists when people get along, work, and live with one-another. In order for this to occur, there must be basic ground rules. In order for society to have certain moral agreements and stay together as a unit, they must respect society: must have moral agreements. If this did not occur society would not work: example, someone is a vegetarian, everyone as a whole must respect this person and their choice not to eat meat, if not, society will not work. Some things are beyond our level of intolerance. Was gay and living a straight life.
