Problematic, arguably on other levels it was good. End of the cold war took the focus of the north and expanded it further. Allowed for the inclusion of other voices that needed to be heard. What is the referent object of security. The object is the acted upon, it is the thing for whom security is done, but it does not act itself. The fact that no one talks about; does not mean its not there in everything. Subjects as though they are actors being constructed in ways that enable some politics and disable others.
