Concept priming: identify words related to stereotype about attitude object. Targets are descriptive of the prime object, some positive, some negative. Can be used to assess racial stereotypes for racial primes. Subliminal prime "black" and "athletic" "smart" - gradually increase duration. Requires shorter duration to find athletic tied to black. Take less time to recognize smart when seeing word white. Evaluative priming: respond "good" or "bad" to words after attitude object prime. If you are thinking about particular class of object, then that means you can access related words. Flash prime attitude objects and then flash pos/neg valence words. E. g. pos valence with black - quick to recognize happy over sad. Pair attitude object with "good" and/or "bad" evaluative response. 2575 vs. fgps find the last element as a 5 vs. s depending on the primed object.
