Can compare different cohorts at same ages. Can compare different cohorts patterns of development across time: are age-related patterns specific to a specific cohort, cons: Can watch development as it occurs: cons: Summary: age-related research design: many design choices all with pros and cons, study tip, define each design, outline its pros and cons, propose your own study using each design, self-test! Maybe ingesting all of this desensitises children from violent things we cannot actually test this because it could have negative impacts on the criminal system.
