Shared environmental variables they are influences and commen experiences that we share with others. Being in the same family environment we have the same dinner conversations etc. we share same school environment, activities etc. with out school mates. The non shared environment are the things that we experience on our own. We are in the same family so we may not be treated the same from our parents. Even in school you have different courses, after school activities etc from others that share part of your environment. Data shows it is the bigger part of environmental influences on the person. Now if the same scenario with the mono and dizygotic twins if they were compete gentic determined then we should see that it will be the same 1. 00 and 0. 50 correlation. We se the genetic correlation of genes with other members of the family. We can also look at children that are raised by genetic parents and the adoptive parent.
