Document Summary
Acts are groups of movements, they can be cognitive or motor and they are intercorrlated. A habit is intercorrelated acts that we repeat over and over and they are patterns. And the habits that are repeated over and over and are intercorrlated and have a pattern are traits and factors underlie traits and this is the general way that he describes personality. He sees the hereditary componsents as setting the scene and then learning takes over. His factor anaylsis is the introversion and the extroversion. If we look at the individual traits that are found along this dimension what are the individual trats that differ. There are dimentions that are stability and nuroticism. If i know where you fall on the extaversion and introversion contium i do not know where you are on the stability and neuroticism contium. They are 2 unrealted contimums that do not correlate.
