Construal: the way in which people perceive, comprehend and interpret the social world. Sociology: provides general laws and theories about societies, not individuals. Personality psychology: studies the characteristics that make individuals unique and different from one another. Social psychology: studies the psychological processes people have in common with one another that make them susceptible to social influence. Individual differences: the aspe(cid:272)ts of people(cid:859)s pe(cid:396)so(cid:374)alities that (cid:373)ake the(cid:373) diffe(cid:396)e(cid:374)t f(cid:396)o(cid:373) other people. Na ve realism: the perception that we see things as they really are.
