People high in social dominance seek to maintain inequality among groups and believe that social groups are different and these differences are important because they allow organization into a hierarchy. Hierarchy enhancers are high in social dominance and want to maintain group inequities. Engage in discrimination to avoid helping people at the bottom of the hierarchy. Trump care hurts people who can"t afford health insurance. If you"re very rich, you can pay for good care and receive it quickly. If you"re poor, you are going to go into debt. Obamacare was designed to help people deal with these costs. Trump care enhances the difference in care that rich and poor receive. Hierarchy attenuators are low in social dominance. They want to eliminate the hierarchal structure and promote equality.
