Pigs are the only worthwhile thing; you have to have pigs for whatever you want to do; pigs take care of the tribe. Can"t accumulate pigs, can give them away in a public show to impress others. 4 years of investing pigs in other people. People used to fight and kill and everyone got angry, so they were given pigs to feel better. Big men plan the fighting, peace, and pig giving. Big men are vulnerable, people try to kill them. Tie pigs to stakes and label with who gets which. Moka gifts are given and repaid with interest. To gather 600 pigs: ongka had to gather his own investments and push his tribes men to gather theirs, if he pushed too hard they"d push back, some.
