Document Summary

Hammerhead sharks, komodo dragons, whiptailed lizard, boa constrictors. Naive to new zealand, but spread throughout the world as an invasive species. In shallow areas, where there are lots of parasites, the mudsnails reproduce sexually. In deeper areas, they switch to asexual reproducion. When there is sex, you create lots of variance in ofspring, some of which may be beter in pressing environmental condiions such as parasites. If everyone is idenical (asexual) all could get wiped out. Parasite is a trematode worm that lives in ducks and snails. Ducks are where the adult worms live, mudsnails release cysts that are picked up by the ducks. Where there are no ducks, there are no parasites (deeper areas) In shallower areas, there are ducks and lots of parasites, where mudsnails must use sexual reproducion. In humans, the primary sex raio is male biased. Secondary sex raio is also male biased (100 females for 107 males) Males have a stronger mortality rate ater concepion.
