 Indra is king of vedic gods  Vishnu is king of classical gods  They both have a maze (weapon), indra used it to fight against snakes  Tilak: red paste you may draw on your own head o The shape of it may correspond to different gods o So by looking at the tilak on a person you can tell which god they fallow  Yoga  comes from “yug” – “to yoke” o Yoking your senses o You are stuck in the world, your primary problem as a hindu is that you are stuck in the world o Everything we do promotes human suffering  Samsara  when you die you will be reborn into another body  Karma  action, everything I do will cause karma to be a crude to my imperial ego o Good action  positive karma, achieve a goo
