Can"t heal brain, can"t heal itself can only chain chemicals in order to lower symptoms brains are a machine, machines wear out/brain wears out. Brain controls body, not the other way around but body affects brain and. Brain is hardwired and can"t change it"s composition can"t create new circuits within the brain brain cannot be changed/trained. Brain can learn and change heal itself, regeneration, can re-route neurological pathways (neuroplastic) Brain can change in response to two broad things: in response to activity, in response to mental experience/activity. Disease and conditions impacted by neuroplasticity: alzheimers, parkinsons, Strokes, hearing disorders, vision disorders, als/ms, epilepsy, chronic pain, Neurological disorders better served by surgery: brain tumors, Neuro-relaxation sleep deprivation and what it does to the brain. Neuro-differentiation and learning can make incredibly precise distinctions in (cid:498)how is neuroplasticity like shamanism, how is placebo affect like neuroplasticity(cid:499) (cid:498)battling against the body(cid:499) military metaphor.
