How is control defined, what does control mean (discussion post, your ideas of control) Whoever was in control or seemed to be in control, was associated with god. Planets named after gods because planets are recognized as being responsible for why we plant and harvest at certain times. Anthropomorphism god as grandfather, mother, father etc. If god is portrayed as father, how does that affect how others act, are men more likely to become fathers to emulate that. God as the other, the other as divine, the other as monstrous. Other is often what is not the norm. During war, between humans, war was also occurring between gods of respective groups. Whichever group of people won, their god also won and it was expected that the group of people that were on the losing side were expected to worship the winning god.
