Sayyid qutb was an egyptian author, educator, islamic theorist, poet, and the leading member of the. Egyptian muslim brotherhood in the 1950s and 1960s. In 1966 he was convicted of plotting the assassination of egyptian president gamal abdel nasser and was executed by hanging. Qutb rejects the call for total integration with the european education system. He believes that the renaissance lies in education and there is a need for an authentic islamic education system. The polarization in egypt educated influenced by europe, rest still influenced by egyptian culture. Qutb had a very strong peasant"s culture in him, culture of superstitions, myths etc. Committed to socio-econ justice wrote social justice in islam islam to be emancipated from traditions. Aqida can transform inactive beings into goal oriented, Aqida is a hidden power frees people from atheism, spiritual freedom, social, Aqidah not treated by qur"an as a theory but as a practical need, based on premise.
