Buddha"s life is a riches to rag story. Lived in the palace as the son of the king. ^talked about to show how he gave up everything. The sketch of the buddha"s life has been sanitized . The buddha is accepted to have been a real person. Lived in the 4th or 5th century before the common era. There is a tendency to read history into the buddha biography that may not be the case. We do not know when he lived. 563-483 b. c. d are traditional dates of his life. We do not know where he was born. We do not know what language he spoke. We do not know where he travelled. We really don"t know much about the buddha as a historical person. He is however talked about by many religious groups. Also, he has a well described traditional biography. Resides in tusita heaven before he decides the right time and place for his birth.
