According to hubbard there are 2 sides to mind: analytica; logical, never makes mistakes, reactive; this is where all your emotions and negative feelings are stores in the form of engrams. The e-meter is one third of a lie detector; 2 cans with electrical wire that take current and make needle move. You talk about negative feelings with the auditor and it takes away those emotions.
