Science is not science until it"s communicated. history of science communication. Books - ancient egypt, person went to library/temple and got idea on modifying water clock and demonstrate it to the pharaoh. Men form an organisation, writing down what they know while also talking/ communicating it with other members (aka proceedings) Ppl dont publish results in books anymore only for collection. Not as much lectures/demonstration from new research or results. But v high conference presentations + posters. Contain articles that report on research ndings and ideas. Can be new or reviewing multiple studies. Used to very long like 50 pages but now shorter like 15 pages. Written by experts for other experts. want response from scienti c community. Statements are referenced and veri able from other research. 3. review: discussed next week e. g. science journal blurs the line between scienti c and popular types. Abstract: quick summary of the entire article + keywords.
