There is an area of the mind that can"t be accessed. This region of the mind if the (cid:498)unconscious(cid:499: asked why we can"t see these files like we can with common memories. Said the (cid:498)unconscious(cid:499) has material that is disturbing and socially disturbing and we don"t like to see this part of ourselves. The people that we love are sometimes people we have sexual and violent inclinations towards. Freud unlocked her unconsciousness and said it became paralyzed because her dad used to make her touch him inappropriately with that arm. Said you can analyze a lot of stuff through peoples dreams. Two elements: 1) day residue: experiences from the day before in dreams that we remember 2) disguised wish fulfillment. What we remember about our dreams is the censored version of our inner wishes.
