Reality and legislation: women through history have steadily fought against oppression from men. Every advancement we"ve achieved has been fought for, nothing has been given to us: what is legislated is not necessarily = to what is in practice, need to be aggressive. But doesn"t seem like this b/c males still dominate. But forces that run it are still male and patriarchal: we are objectified, reduced, and aren"t given the same opportunities as men; treated as almost human". The men that run it: men in upper management / industry understand women in three ways, mothers, wives, daughters. All women"s task = enjoy the fruits provided by men, support men, be sexual property of men. Top business men do not have to pretend or worry about acting properly: no political correctness, misogyny continues to rule, no need to speak correctly of women. Culture, live in a world all about men, women are beautiful accessories.
