Prohibiions & admonishments against # sexual pracices. Masturbaion, same-sex sexual acivity, anal & oral sex, cross dressing, besiality. However married men allowed concubines or muliple wives. Church strengthens & extends control over peoples of eu. Guilt around sexuality becomes important feature of life. Deviance, sexuality & chrisian church: however, some excepions: Priests allowed to marry & have children. Prosituion condoned: necessary evil - prevented sodomy"- adultery, besiality. Unless lusts released social disorder would result. Use of condoms for syphilis rather than contracepion.
