Phenomenology examines the reality of everyday life, and how individuals make sense of their everyday experiences. This approach is called phenomenology because it examines how ppl focus on and give attention to particular phenomena in the world around them. Was concerned in his analysis with how in everyday life, people make sense of social reality and act on that reality. Published a book called the social construction of reality published in 1966. Popularized the idea of schutz through this book, a classic book in gy.
