Sociological imagination: ability to connect own individual experiences with a bigger social issue or problem / to a broader social context. Not being the only one going through something - can be unemployment, divorce, etc. Since its a lot of people unemployed, its not a personality problem, it"s more likely to be a social problem. Increasing secularism - people moving away from religions and not conforming to the married life. Women"s labour force participation - gives more women nancial security independent from a husband. Perspective= everything has a plan and this is how it runs. Perspective= we decide what this course is going to be depending on how we interact with each other. Analogy to the human body- 1 part of body has broken down, they"re all interrelated as society is. Society has many parts and if one part breaks down, it a ects how all of society works.
