Her parents generation, the sex life in young people when they were dating. Today is a change, for many college and university students, dating takes place when you have a sex life with that person. Interviewed post secondary people and young people who gradated. She found that the same young people that it changes after university. Secual orientation is not always fixed fluid and changes over time. People have very different working def of working sexual: not all people who take part in homo activities are gay or less, eg. Men in jail have sex but they"re not all gay or identify themselves as gay. Folding in 3 waves: late 1800"s equal rights feminists. Wanted to improve educational opportunities, economic independence (women have right in owning property), child case custody (women should have custody of the children after divorce). They should be moral guardians to society: 1960"s women"s liberation movement going to uni and going to work.
