Those who accomplish more than others feel more confident in a group. Target younger men inorder to make them believe they love the marines. Teach soliders to break through the limits so soliders can go through and kill the enemy when times comes. In some ways the marine treaining produces a modern kid gang that will kill. Educates recruits that enemies are not fully human. An example of resocialization, stripping identity and giving them a new one. Disorient them, strip them of individual identity (anything physical i. e hair, clothes) Purpose to make each individual think they are the same as the person next to them. Then tells you what the purpose of life is. Yell at them -purpose is to get the recruit to be able to function in chaos i. e war. Taught from birth what is expected from a person. I. e what is role, what to wear, how to behave. Health and well being related to being social.
