Are psychopaths in real life similar to the movies: norman bates (psycho) vs. hannibal lecter. Psychopathy and antisocial personality disorder: dsm of mental disorders. Mentions he possesses 2 personalities i. e. extreme identification w. him mom. But in this movie he"s a bit too concerned. Iis it a correct analysis leave that to freudian analysis. Dsm-5 states,(cid:498)self-direction: goal setting based on personal gratification. (cid:499) (cid:498)crime of passion, not profit. (cid:499) detective from psycho socially awkward as they"re actually glib and manipulative. Needlessly violent when they"re usually violent and majority are not. Not in tune with reality, but psychopaths are very aware of what"s around them and pick up. This sint a typical feature of psychopath: bates vs traditional psychopath on social signals.
