Psychological social psychologists tend to adopt cognitive perspectives. Cognitive theory maintains that the link between external stimuli and behavioural response is indirect. External stimulus is understood only by viewing it in the context of an entire system: disengaged and lack of communication difficult to understand and decipher what"s happening, has to be relevant in a different context. It"s not anything that can"t be learned, but difficult: observing cognitive processes in a tangible form is very difficult.
