Music is a mirror of our society, echoes back what our society values in various ways. Popular music has sexism, feminism, objectification, and liberation / emancipation. Examples of all these things and many others offers an audience any number of things that can appeal to them or motivate them. It offers whatever audience whatever it is looking for. A musician appealing to young certain attitude and sexual frankness. Youth music as a popular art form has its roots in sexual expression. Rock n roll itself began as a euphemism for the sexual act. It follows that there will be a sexualized image.
