Ageism works in the personal and individual levels and the structural level. 25 to 30 is old enough to not get assumptions but still younger/known as more. Legitimate /below the level of expectation of having children/travel opportunities. 40 to 60 based on the fact that by this age people have a family and a stable job/authority. Old people are viewed by society as bad compared to younger people. Peter: children (and youth) are not adults they have a different world view, different ways of communicating, different status and power, and different rights . The tendency of adults to view children and their problems from a biased, adult perspective .
