Development and disciplined use of scienti c and professional knowlege. Use concrete set of skills to develop practice. Development of resourses and skills to meet individual, group, national and international needs and aspirations, and the achievement of social justice. Social workers are interested i the needs and empowerment of people who are vulnerable and oppressed. 1: working with a third party to develop programs that are accesible. Mezzo: working with groups in a community. Enabler - setting people up to be able to make their own decisions. Broker - take ppl and link them to a support system/organization. Mediator - helping resolve con ict ex: landlord vs tenant, couples counseling.
