Allows us to participate in society the working poor is a way of excluding people. Only a moral issue bc it"s not a law. The province won"t ght for it until we do locally. There are 1. 8 million working canadians who can"t pull their family out of poverty. Wage oor - lots of pressures to put wages lower and lower. There"s always someone who can work for less. You need this high enough to not screw ppl over. Trampoline - raise wages higher for people already above living wage. Right now there are lots of rich ppl and lots of poor ppl, income is going to the top. Half of economic growth is from household spending.
