Both individual choices and product of economic and environmental influences; Ask about eye doctors, taking care of your teeth, do they smoke, consume alcohol and any medications. Coping skills provide them with education and evidence based. Prenatal care is the health of the mother while she is pregnant. If children don"t get a good foundation it can affect them for the rest of their lives, such as education, jobs and healthy habits. Adverse childhood experiences affect the adult health issues. Look at environment; caring for young people affects how they grow up. Immunizations, milestones throughout life, childhood environment, what did the parents do, nutrition, activities, school environment, friends, were they active, did they go outside, play video games all day inside. Nurses promote health by being advocates for healthy choices. Teach parents how to take care of their children. Logisitics transportation, access to family doctor, culture. All the determinants of health affect each other.
