Document Summary
Visual editing: lets you edit the text on the screen just as it appears on the page. Source editing: lets you see the underlying wikicode. When using the visual editor you can switch to the source editor (and vice verse) by clicking the pencil icon at the top right. Visual editor: easy to add text, cite sources, create links, and do basic formatting, only available for articles. To talk to other wikipedians, you use wikicode. Layout is similar to what you"d see on a social media site. Paragraph: helps you set the style of the text, use it to offset block quotations, adds headers or plain paragraph. A: highlight your text then click here to format it with bold or italics, more option allows you to underline, add code snippets, and change keyboard languages. Bullets: to add bullet points or numbered list. Inserts: add media, images or tables, add special characters.
