Trans- canada air lines: crown corporaion that eventually became private (air canada) Early canada spent a lot of money/ ime trying to connect all parts of canada since it was so large and spaced out. Canada had to invest in ways for canadians to communicate. Over two thirds of canada"s populaion lives within 100km of the us border. Nl has . 5 million people, bc has 4 million: they each have 6 representaives in the senate. Atlanic canada had a strong economic start, but since they were based on natural resources, have fallen in recent history. Quebec fairly well established in the secondary sector.
