Psychology: scientific study of mind and behaviour. (psyche + logos: study of the soul). Mind can be defined as the private inner experiences of perception, thoughts, memories, feelings and streams of consciousness. It is private because only an individual can report what is going through their mind, although we can make assumptions about what they are thinking. Everyone"s mind is different, so each mind is unique. People can lie, so it lacks total reliability.
