Wednesday, october 25th: slaves as children and freaks, artisan slaves and domestics, the sex trade. Slaves were not distinguished they were not branded, and despite their poor clothing others who were not slaves also had bad attire. Therefore, it was very difficult to distinguish between a slave and a free. (cid:41804) children and freak slaves. Pai literal meaning boy , domestic slaves were a permanent status of child. As you get further away from the city centre, the greek people get weirder and weirder. If a slave was assigned to a mine, they could be purchased by an artisan. Slave and artisan work side by side, similar in concept to an apprentice. Pasion he opened an arms factory, a democracy with where individuals answer to nobody is deal, but he was not his own boss because he accounted his activities to somebody else. His lack of autonomy outweighed his monetary wealth.
