Continual cycle of project management: plan, do, check, act. Executing process group activities: manage stakeholder engagement, direct and manage project work, perform quality assurance, acquire project team, develop project team, manage project team, manage communications, conduct procurements. Multiple sub-activities in each stage of the process group activities. Manage the plan continually and relate each step to your initial plan. Compare results so far aainst your plans. Identify if variances (positive and negative) exist from plans. Change management procedures should be defined as part of the overall project plan, as per company policies. Traditional projects (plan driven) have policies and processes to control change and decide what actions are needed and add business value. Undocumented changes may negatively impact the project schedule, budget and project quality. Possibly assign someone in your team to track changes as you execute your project. A process for managing change is crucial. Helps understand when or why a change is needed.
