Week three: 1967/1968: jean luc godard was critically acclaimed. He was a film making rock star. He hit a brick wall after weekend. He becomes a maoist: the weekend represents a time that is unconstructed, weekend is a pseudo-marxist film, capital vs. structuring your life. We eat real animals and watch fake violence on tv. If we radically play with the form on cinema, how does it change our experience of it: the countryside is apocalyptic in the film, the city is invading the country.
