Interview Checklist !

Research, pre-interview - come up with list of questions to forecast how it will structure
into your film !

Location and background - professor at queens etc!

Shoot from tripod - keep it steady!

Close to axis, long focal length - put person asking questions near the camera. Talk
to the person asking questions and put them closest to the camera !

Cutaways - think of possible cutaways (close up of items in her office etc) !

Pre-roll VCR stop - pre roll! More footage will be beneficial in the editing room and
doesn't allow risk of short clips or cut off clips at the beginning. !

Release form prior to the interview !

Statements, not conversation - not a talk show, we don't want to hear the interviewer !

Boom/shotgun - mainly used in documentaries outdoors!
