Critiques of remittances: added fees imposed from money transfer companies (western unions, do governments use high remittance levels as a way to keep their foreign aid budget lower, consequences of the privatization of foreign aid. Ngo"s (non governmental organizations): a voluntary citizens group or non profit group. It can be organized at the local, national or international level.
