Strategy of social intervention in disadvantage communities around the world. Goals are gender equality, health, anti-stigmatisation, global partnerships. Sport by itself does not lead to development. Sport is a right which not many children are able to have. Development is an indirect benefit of participation in sport. We need to address both sides of the green revolution crisis: production and alienation, etc. (cid:858)slo(cid:449) food (cid:373)o(cid:448)e(cid:373)e(cid:374)t(cid:859) Steady state economics: no need growth, reduce environment costs. New ways to measure development is needed: change from measuring economic growth, measure gross national happiness. No violent revolutions or dictatorships: small islands of de-growth gradually establish a new hegemony, global north must de-grow, but no need for global south to wait for north to de-grow first. Many of these practices are already in place as (cid:858)indigenous knowledge(cid:859) Loss of pasture, wildlife and biodiversity (monoculture) Dispossession of people and privatization of land. Destruction of traditional food systems, loss of gathered forest products.
