B. europe shovels out its paupers: enclosures in england, common lands were turned to private property, enclosed and the people/peasants who lived on that land in common were booted off as it was now private property, clearances in scotland, cleared the peasants off the land, and replaced them with sheep profitable, all the peasants, hundreds of thousands of them, pushed off lands in british isles, some went to big industrial cities where they encountered industrial capitalism, and then when they couldn"t make out there, they were pushed over here, britain changed its immigration policy (before said not interested in permanent settlement because only wanted to exploit it for resources merchant capital) into one where it sends people over, all of the poor people swelling the cities, and now they have a whole continent over in na so they rejigged the polices.
