Instead of being tucked away in a museum graphic art is often outside. Most the population will never see the culture inside museums, artists so privy to only a select few to view: purpose of that revolution was to take away privilege from certain groups and make it available to everyone. The idea of someone having to take a day off and paying to view select art for a select group, art was taken out of museums to make it available for everyone. So, people could enjoy art on their commutes. Rather than painting on canvas or engraving on paper artist painted on walls because it would be available to everyone who walked by.
