There are different levels on what is justifiable. The question of migration rely on a deeper problem. Closed borders violate right to freedom of movement. Grounded in a deeper claim of importance of rights. There are many different regulations to limit or constrain movement all the time. Simply saying it is a constraint doesn(cid:495)t show is disrupts a right. Some things do count as restriction of movement. The thought of right to freedom of movement does not mean you can move wherever you want. (objection: freedom of movement is a suffiecientarian right). Argument #2 (stronger argument) borders than a simple freedom of movement argument. People have a right to a decent life. Closed borders make it hard for people to move in pursuit of a decent life. Therefore closed borders violate the human right to a decent life. This is a more challenging argument for justifying the state to territorial.
