Inconsistent with the habituaion event (show something novel, should have a diferent looking ime) Recognizing the valence of acions: hiing/hindering, helping/loving are diferent enough to cause diferent looking ime, but no diference between hiing and hindering, reaching and other motor acts. Reaching preference for helpers rather than hinderers. Helping infants at 18 months will pick something up for you, open a door if your hands are full. Comforing 18 to 24 month old (full hugging at 4 years)
