Believed the same thing about acting out of spite to hurt both actor"s reproductive success: hamilton (cid:224) (altruism) by helping other individuals reproduce, even though an actor does not reproduce herself, another actor of the same species still reproduces, so the species continues to reproduce and evolve (natural selection and hamilton approve, hamilton (cid:224) (spite) relative amount of dominant actor greater than that of recipient, so natural selection would still favour this because the actor with greater fitness passes on its genes.
