Many people experience sexual problems at some point in their lives. Possible to give and receive more pleasure from sex. To help people become more aware of sexual diversity and may help to increase tolerance of other sexual identities. Prevention of negative side effects of sex eg. unwanted pregnancies. Psychological theories focus more attention on individual and how they deal with sexuality. Sociological theories focus more on how society and culture influence sexuality.
